Happy Birthday Sophia, Part 1

This past Sunday we had a birthday party for Sophia with my side of the family. She is getting so cute. She loves to RUN!! Here are some picture of the party.

Happy Labor Day!

Hello all!! Did you have a good Labor Day? Well we did. My kids LOVE to play outside with their grandparents. We had went to my parents on Labor Day. Matt had to work and I didn't want to stay at home. We had a good time. Saphrin and Sophia got to go outside to help grandma plant flowers. Sophia didn't do the best job of helping. She actually pulled up one of the flowers that my mom just planted. UGH!!

9 months

I can't believe that the boys have turned 9 months. I haven't really been on lately so they have done a lot!! They are now both sitting by themselves. Estin was the first to do it and Keelen within the last week has started to do it by himself. The First Step lady has really been working with him. I don't know how much they weight but I will update one next week because they will be going to the doctor on Tuesday.

I don't know if you noticed but the boys' eyes have changed. They use to be blue and now they have turned brown. Just like their mother. I am glad that I have someone like me :) Both the boys are doing great. They both are talking. They like to say dada. It is ok. I know who they really like. ME!!! They are also ALL over the place. My little boys are growing up :(

This past weekend I went to a bridal shower in Michigan with one of my friend. My parents watched the kids on Saturday and Matt watched them on Sunday. The picture is of Keelen. He is so cute. I took Estin. We had a great time. :)

I haven't been on

I haven't been on very much. It has been really busy for me. We have had the fair, VBS at our church, and then VBS at my MIL church. Now we are going to get back in to homeschooling next week. I like to start early because then I know that we can take off every once in a while. We are going to another curriculim this year. We did Bob Jones last year. I really like it, BUT I have 4 other kids so we decided to go with Alpha Omega Switched-On Schoolhouse. I am very excited about this because it will be all on the computer. I will not have to grade anything. I hope that it works how I think it is going to work.

8 months old

My little boys are 8 months old today!! I can't believe it. I can't really remember when I was really stuck at home. I know what you are thinking 1. with 5 kids you should stay at home. 2. I was nursing them and it was VERY hard to go anywhere. I am so glad that I am out of that stage but at the same time I love that stage. They don't talk back :) The boys are getting very active. They roll everywhere. Estin is almost sitting by himself. Keelen is getting there. Keelen is working with a therapist, so he will be doing thing soon :) They are getting one meal a day. I started them late and have never worked up to having more. I am working on it. Estin is nursing still 4 times a day. Keelen is still on the aweful smelling formula and has to be fed every 3 hours. He is not gaining the weight that he needs too. They haven't been weighed lately but I think that Estin is about 22 pounds. He is moving into a converible carseat. Keelen has probably hit 14 pounds. He goes to the doctor August 7 so we will know then.

Boy am I tired!!

Estin does this alot. I think that it is so cute. Griffin loves holding his brothers. He is usually playing a game of some sort. He is a GREAT brother!!

We have a zoo membership so we try to go to the zoo as much as we can. On this particular day was behind the scenes day. It was fun!!

One day I went up to check on my daughter as she was sleeping and found her sleeping on the changing table of her crib. I thought it was too funny!! I didn't quite get her sleeping on the changing table because she woke up, but I thought that I would share anyway!!

Keelen

Keelen went to the Cardiologist a couple weeks ago for the hole in his heart. I thought that was all that was wrong with him. I was wrong. He has a Bicuspid Aortic Valve (BAV). http://bicuspidfoundation.com/Bicuspid_Aortic_Valve_Disease.html#Anchor19 You can go here for the explanation. My husband says that I don't present it right. He will go back in 6 months to be checked on. He also does have a whole in his heart. The doctor said that it will close by the time he comes back. The Cardiologist said that he will eventually have to have surgery on the BAV but it depends on how fast in gets worst, so it is a waiting game. FUN!!!

Fair Time!!

A couple weeks ago we went to zoo in the morning and then cam back for Kiddie Day at the local fair. Since it was kiddie day it was PACKED!! We had fun!! I wanted to go because I like exposing the kids to farm things. I grow up on a farm. We rose pigs. Living in town we really can't raise pigs. A couple things that we did was Saphrin and her dad rode the Ferris wheel.

Saphrin REALLY loved riding on the ride. When we left she was pointing at every ride and saying that she would like to go on it. She is going to be a fearless girl!!

Fireworks!!

On Friday the kids and I minus Griffin and Matt went to my parents house for the evening and then we spend the night. We had a great time. Saphrin was wanting to get to their house very fast. I had to go to Walmart but she didn't want to go there. It was too funny. I got her a donut and that made it all better. When we finally got to my parents house no one was their Saphrin didn't like that either. When Grandma came in all was forgotten. For supper we had hobo dinners. They are SOOOO yummy. They consist of a hamburger patty, sliced potatos, carrots and onions. It has to be one of my favorite meals when we go camping. That night we had fireworks. I was really nervous wabout Saphrin because she doesn't really like the loudness of the fireworks. They scare her. She sat by Grandma:

Over all it was a good night. The girls were ready to go to bed when the night was done!! That makes mommy happy. Estin sleeped good but Keelen wanted to roll around, so I didn't get that much sleep. All is well in our house though :)

3 little boys

Yesterday one of my friend asked if I could watch my little one because the daycare was close for the week. I agree. I was very scared at first. I didn't know how it would all work out. It ended up being super easy. I don't know if the twins have helped be be able to handle more than one at a time, but it really wasn't that hard. We play. I got a couple loads of laundry done, made cookies for my dad and got supper on. I told Matt the day before not to expect dinner. I didn't know how it would go. I feel alittle lost today not have 3 babies :)

7 Months

Well we have reached 7 months. I am amazed that I am still alive. Having twins is not the easiest thing in the world. Now it is getting MUCH better. They are just wonderful babies. I couldn't have asked for better on. I don't really mind what is going on with Keelen because it could be much worst. Griffin really like having his brothers. When we came home from my parents house after the twins were born they went right into the crib in the boys room (where Griffin sleeps). When he got home, Matt and I were talking and saying that maybe we should put the boys in with us so they don't wake up Griffin. Griffin said no. I like them being in with me! I thought that was so cute!! Saphrin is really become a big girl with the boys. She will put in their paci's. Sophia thinks that they are her live doll. Sunday we were getting ready to feed the boys. I had made a bottle and had to go to the potty. I came back down and Sophia had taken it and gave the bottle to Estin. He was just going to town on it. We told Sophia that it wasn't Estin bottle it was Keelen's. She got scared and let go of the bottle. Estin started screaming. He really like that bottle. Estin wouldn't nurse for the next 5 minutes because he was so mad!!

They are just doing wonderful. Keelen goes to the doctor on Monday. He has been going ever month to keep track of where he is. He is just going to be a small person. He also goes to the Cardiologist on Tuesday. Estin is doing great. He is our chuck monker!!!!
