Fears of a little Saphrin

Most nights it is a struggle to get Saphrin to go to bed. She is way to hyper. Matt was putting her to bed and this is what insued:

Matt: It is important so her body could rest and her bones could grow bigger.
Saphrin: (she hinds under the blanket and then pops her head out with a sad face)
Matt: What is wrong?
Saphrin: I don't want to grow big and tall.
Matt: Everyone grows. Sophia's growing, Estin and Keelen are growing...
Saphrin: Is Morgan growing? is Marissa grow?
Matt: Yes.

I can almost hear there conversation right now. Matt having the little meek voice when he says it. He does great with the kids. I can't come up with stuff like that to tell the kids. She is just growing up. Just don't tell her she will have nothing to do with that.

Not watching your kids this is what you get :)

Isn't she cute. While I was posting my hair color Saphring came out looking like this. I think that it is so cute. Her dad would be proud. If you don't know he works at Walmart. Could that be considered clothes. We do need to go shopping for new clothes for her :)

New Hair

As I said yesterday I got my hair colored. Do you like? I asked Angie today... She did say much. I don't know that I really like it. It is for my hubby. He really likes it. I'm not much into dyeing my hair.

Look at the hair not the background. Yes I need to clean my house. I'm doing that right now.
My beautiful face :)

Five Months

I can't believe that the boys are 5 months old. They are going great. They have there naps and feedings down for now. We haven't started rice cereal. I don't really want to start it. I already have so much to do. I think that I will start more closer to 6 months unless the doctor says otherwise. They are not rolling yet. They are doing better at tummy time. Keelen is still spitting up when he is on tummy. He doesn't like it very much.

Long Weekend

On Friday my parents took half the kids again. They can't take the twins because I am still nursing them. It is just nice to have a day off. The boys right now are so easy. They eat, play and then sleep. I wish I could do that. Friday night Matt and I went over to his parents house and had supper and ate dinner. I love not cooking :) Saturday I woke up and did nothing for half the day. It was great. Not hearing the girls ask for a sippy cup is great. I decided after half the day was already gone that I should probably clean up the house. The kids came home. It is alway nice to have them home after having a little break.

Sunday was a big day for us. Church like usual, then Michael and Molly (Matt's brother and SIL) came up to his parents house so we decide to go over. At night we had some friends over to watch a wrestle PPV. It was pretty fun. I colored my hair again. It is a little more red. I don't know if I like it or not. I will post a picture tomorrow. Matt took the camera to work. We had a really good weekend. Now what will the week bring?

Thankful Thurdays

This is taken for my dear friend Angie. I have my thing to be thankful for today but here are a few:

  • My wonderful husband who tells me the truth when I don't really want to hear it
  • Kid who forgive me when I blow up at them
  • A job for our family
  • A house to live in

Thank you God for giving me what a don't deserve and not giving me what I do deserve.

I started

This week Matt and I started back on Weight Watchers. We are not going to any meetings. We are just going to do it from the comfort of our on home. I am telling you this so you can be our accountability. It is a lifestyle change. We have been big all our life and I don't want our kids to think that is ok. Being big is bad for our body. I hope and pray that I have the strength to do this. This is an addiction that I need to conquer.

Where else can we go?

Yesterday Matt wanted to take the kids to a science place close by. Saphrin really likes to go there. Griffin does too but I think it is because he doesn't have to do the school work. Before they went after they took the twins and I over to my friend Angie's house. We had to work on VBS for the summer. We got some stuff done which was nice. Matt and the kids went to the science place and the zoo. The zoo opened last weekend so I was really nice. After we got home I had to rush around. I had to take a meal to a lady for my moms group who just had a baby and then take Griffin and Saphrin to smiw at the Y. It was a busy nice day.

Sickness over!!!

Today Griffin is going to go to the doctor to get check out again. We were all sick last week. Matt had strep, I had a cold, Griffin had an ear infection, Saphrin had a cold, Sophia had an upper resp infection, Estin had an upper resp infection and Keelen actually didn't have anything but is being treated for acid reflux. 5 out of the 7 of us were on meds. That is a tall task to take on. Giving everyone there meds on time and not forgetting any when I hate giving medicine anyway. I always forget to give doses. I'm a bad mom. I will try harder next time. I am working on it because Keelen is on acid reflux meds.

Four Month Appointment

Today was their 4 month appointment. They are officially 20 weeks old. It doesn't seem like it. Estin is 14 lbs. 3 oz and 24 inches long. He also has a upper resp infection. The doctor said that he was doing great even for a 4 month old.

Keelen is 10 lbs 14 oz. and 22 inches long. The doctor was not really happy with the weight that he has gained. He gain 14 oz in 2 1/2 weeks. He put him back on acid reflux meds and wants him to get on acid reflux formula. The doctor said other than that he is doing great. He wanted to see him back in 2 weeks.

Easter 2009

We woke up in the morning early. We had to wake up early because we have so many kids and we could get them dressed and find the Easter baskets in the time we would have had. We had a pretty good day.

We went to church in the morning. After church we went to my grandma's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. I like going to my families get togethers because I love my grandma and I get to see everyone -- One of my friends married my cousins. The kids had fun finding there eggs. After all that we went down to my parents house and the kids got there Easter presents from my parent. They gave us $25 to go out to eat. We didn't stay every long because the kids were getting tired. I didn't want to cook so we decided to use our money to go get something to eat. We decided on getting deli pizza's from Walmart and shakes. YUMMY!! It was a very busy day, but we had fun. I'm interested in how next year will go. We will have 2 one year olds. EEK!!

Breakfast with the Bunny

This morning we woke up early to go down town to have breakfast with the bunny. I was alittle scared because I was going to take the kids all by myself. I was afraid that it was going to rain and be too cold. We end up have a great walk there. I was also worried about getting breakfast for the kids. Griffin went up and got his and then I went with Saphrin and we got ours. Saphrin did an awesome job and being patient. All in all we had a pretty good time. On the way back we got stopped by a train. It was kind of scary because a van almost ran right in front of the train. We got back though. I would do it again. The boys are only going to get bigger.

Just like her sister

Sophia went to the doctor today. She had to get her legs checked out. Saphrin has went to this same doctor when she was about 18 months. When I took her there he said that she would grow out of it but to come back in 6 months. She did grow out of it. Sophia got the same report. Taking her ot the doctor today was little challeging. She was sick. She didn't sleep much last night. I think that she has a cold. She seems much better now but she had a temp of a 101. Poor baby!! :( This sounds bad but I love when my girls are sick because they love to snuggle.
