Griffin's Birthday Party

We had Griffin's Birthday Party on Saturday. Nana, Papa, Michael, Molly and kids, and my parents were all there to celebrate Griffin's last year before the really fun begins... lol. The teenager year... oh my!!!

Griffin opening presents

I want to help mommy!!

On Saturday we had Griffin's 12th birthday party. He won't be 12 til Wednesday February 2. In all good parties we have to clean the house, so I was finishing and I decided to set down because I had been going for 6 hours straight. Estin decided that the kitchen floor wasn't clean enough it needed another mopping. He is such a helper :)

Those boys

We have two day bed for the boys in their roon but they only choose to use one almost every night. I think that it is super cute. They can't stay apart from each other. They won't be doing it for long. They are getting big and fast.

Daddy daughter time

For some ODD reason Matt loves to take Saphrin to get her hair cut, so we had a coupon and Matt decide to take her to get it done. Matt said that she was very blunt with the stylist and said that she wanted her hair cut up to here. I think that Saphrin is very please with her hair cut :) I was very scared because I knew that Matt wanted her hair cut short, shorter than I wanted. I think that she looks very cute :)

I'm a princess :)

Life is so busy but fun. My husband and I laugh almost every night when we retell the stories of the day.

Estin and Keelen love to bring the chairs into the kitchen and they wash my dishes. It is so cute. They wash them and then they put the "clean" dishes in the drainer. In the process they get water all over my floor.

I love when my husband is home but I get nothing done. You would think with how many kids I have I would love it and get tons done. It doesn't happen. Half the time he is home we are snuggling or doing family stuff. This past Sunday Matt was snuggling Saphrin and I went up to wake them up and Saphrin had a temperature. I didn't have any fever reducers so I need to go get some. I went to CVS came back and Saphrin was jumping off the wall. Matt said that she wanted a bath. She took one and was totally fine afterward. Kids can do so much.

Griffin is getting into his teenage years. You can find him mostly in his room (cold room). He sleeps in the basement. We have told him several time that if it is too cold to come up and sleep on the main floor or sleep with the twins. He refuses. What a turkey. We had home schooled him for the past 2 years and this school year we decided that we would send him back to school. He is doing wonderful!!! It helps that he reads tons. He joke around with him a lot about his books. He will bring a book home and Matt and I ask him if he will be done with that tonight. He usually is. His teenage side is starting to come out too. Last night was trash night. He has to take the trash cans to the road to be picked up today. He did that can in took off his shoes and I asked him if he took out the trash that was in the house and he started to cry. "Why does you guy blah blah blah?" It is always our fault with him. I try to think that he will snap out of it.

The last of my rugrats...Sophia. She is a pill, a good pill at that. She is so active. Last night we ask the girl to go to bed. They did but Sophia like the light on when she does to bed and Saphrin doesn't want it on. Somehow they got it worked out last night. When we went up stairs to go to bed both the girls were snuggling in Saphrin's bed. It was so cute.

I love talking about my kids. They make me smile several times a day :)

We're going to a new town

The kids got on there bikes. I asked Saphrin where are you going. She said to a new town. Where did she get that?? I thought it was cute.

Parents as Teachers

Each month Miss Kathy comes over to "play" teach my kids. She reads them a book that goes along with the point that he was getting across and then she usually has and activity also, so this was the boy activity. Each of the girls have had it and loved it and of course they wanted to chime in too. The game is there is a string with a ball on the end of it and they have little "rackets" to hit the ball. It took the boys a little bit of time to get what to do but they got it.

Estin holding the ball
Ms. Kathy helping Estin out
the boys finally getting out
Estin liked it the most

Finally

All the kids in order...
Griffin, Saphrin, Sophia, Estin, and Keelen
After cleaning last night all the kids got on the couch. As you can see Griffin still doesn't want his picture taken. I love when they do cute stuff like this. It makes me smile.

I LOVE my family!!

I am very thankful to have my wonderful family. They make me laugh every single day. Yesterday while we were home from church my daughters decided that they need to slide down the stairs in a laundry basket. I saw them at the top of the stairs leaning forward so that the basket would come down. I yelled out NO. It was too late the basket was already coming down the stairs. Saphrin got ahold of the side of the stair and held on as Sophea flew down. Griffin was at the end of the stairs. I told him GRAB HER!!! Well he didn't she got to the end and fell out. She jumped up and picked up the laudry basket and ran up the stairs laughing. I told the girls I don't think so!!! You are not doing that again. You scared me half to death.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I Love those boys. They are all boy. A couple different times this week they have found a bug on the floor and looked at them. They touched them a little. Tonight after having supper the boys were on the floor in the kitchen and I thought they were doing something wrong so I went in to see what was happening. They had pulled an ant out from under the deep freeze and stared at it. I was so cute.
Thank you for listening to how I LOVE my family :)

Fun in the snow

As soon as they get out there they are trying to hit me with snow
Saphrin found something from the summer that we left out
Sophia is so pretty
Sisterly love (sometimes)
I don't like to go outside, but with my year goal of wanting to do more for my kids I knew that they would LOVE it and they did. We were only out for about 15 mins but they love every minute of it. It was really cold so we came in.

Come here doggy I have some food for you

My kids LOVE dogs which we don't have. Thank goodness!! I don't think that I could take care of another mouth in my household plus my husband would want a big dog. He would also like it to be inside. I don't do inside dogs. I already have enough mess that I need to clean up I don't need a dog mess on top of it. So with that said my kids have turned into dogs. It is so cute. If I am eating and they come up and ask for some I will say "ok dog here you go" and they will get down on all 4's and act like a dog. I am glad that I have this kind of dog... I LOVE THEM!!

My 3 dogs Estin, Sophia, and Keelen
They are eating off the floor.. don't worry I mopped it last night

Kids sleeping

My daughters share a room. One likes the light on when they got to bed. One like that light off and will fall asleep fast. What to do.....hmmm... Wait I got it... the older one can sleep on the living room floor...

Her pillow and toys that she MUST have
Saphrin wanting with picture taken

Her bed that she made.
I guess we will do this for now until we get the addition done. Saphrin likes it :)

Mongrels and monboys

If you haven't notice we have ALOT of kids. My husband and I were talking a couple weeks ago and I think that I was making supper and everyone wanted sometime to eat. Matt said that we have some mongrels. Saphrin said yep yep we have some mongrels and monboys... lol get it... we LOVED it.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Have you ever have kids at you feet acting like they haven't eaten at all even though you just feed them. Saphrin goes to bed every night asking for food even though we just gave her sometime to eat. It was really funny when I was pregant with the twins I would sit down with a bowl of cereal and feed Saphrin, Sophia and myself (so me and the 2 boys that were inside me). How many people have you feed with you bowl of cereal? So here are the boys once again trying to steal my food.

Estin
Keelen... he has chocolate on his face... mom must have just had a weight watcher chocolate ice cream bar

They look so cute why wouldn't you feed them

Some pics of the kids now

This has got to be the best picture ever... I love it. Saphrin is with Keelen and Sophia is with Estin and yes the girls do have marker all over their face.
Griffin... We all know how he likes his picture taken

Sophia... She has never gotten her hair cut... It looks SO beautiful. (Christmas dress)

Saphrin (Christmas dress)
Keelen and Estin.. At my grandma Christmas party she had TONS of candy under the tree so the boys thought it would be fun to hide behind the tree and eat it. Well it didn't work... lol.

Hair cuts in order

My husband (and Father-in-law) has been bugging me for a good 3 months to get Estin and Keelen's hair cut. I said... "They are my babies!! If you cut there hair I will have no babies anymore." I finally gave in when person after person kept asking if they were boys or girls plus my parent wanted to get pictures taken of the whole family, so I thought it was a good time to do it.
Keelen (after)
Estin (after)

Estin (before)

Keelen (before)
The only way I can tell the before is how the hair falls... they look so much alike. After we got their hair cut we went into Walmart for Matt's mother to see the boys. We had a very hard time telling who is who. If I can't tell them apart how is anyone else going to tell them apart?? EEK

Pancakes are for the morning

Last night laying in bed I thought that I would wake up and make pancake today. Saphrin LOVES pancakes. I woke up got the bowl out and Saphrin says, "your making pancakes?!?!" Yes, Yes I am Saphrin. I got the first batch gone and Saphrin asked if she could have them first. I said no. She always wants to be first. I give pancake like my parents did. They went from the youngest to the oldest. She didn't like that very well. I got them all make and sat down and no one ate them except Griffin :( I couldn't believe it. Oh well I guess I am not making pancakes for breakfast again...lol.

Saphrin's cuteness

Here lately Saphrin has been sticking her tongue out at what she dislikes. We give her a spank and she has said... "the wind blew it out" or "my tongue is dancing." It is very hard not to laugh went they do that stuff.

A New Beginning part 2

Sorry... I don't know how to do all the stuff so I just did a couple different post. Well it has come out... I've been a slacking parent the past year. My husband came up to me at the beginning of the year and tell me that God told him that we need to change our life by the end of the year 2010. I was like we have time or it will change. Well it didn't and so I didn't either. It is like trying to break up with your boyfriend that you know is wrong for you. You think this is the only person that has ever liked me what am I going to do.... I'm not going to get anyone else. As I was TRY to agrue my point to my husband he said something that I didn't really want to hear (but needed too)... he always gives me a story, I learn better that way.... You are working at a job, they want you to do something that is against what God says and you know you should quit. Is it faith to just stay there and look for another job or to quit and see what God provides? I hate when he is right, so I am here ready and open to what God has for me.

The Wise Man and The Foolish Man

A New Beginning

At the beginning of every year we set out to make changes in our lives... lose weight, have a cleaner house, play with your kids more, pay of your debt, etc. Well I want to do all of those.. lol, but I can't unless I change the very foundation that they are upon. There is a kids song that is very good for this and it goes like this...
