Laundry time

That is right... it is that time of week again. I always have so much laudry to do. I would do it more often, I think, if my washer and dryer was on the main level. I don't like that I have to go all the way down stairs. Last night I told Matt that I wished that he worked third shift again. He did the laundry when he worked third shift. It was so nice. He doesn't like the to sort and I don't like going down stairs, what a fit. So... this is my goal for today... to get the laundry all done :) 

Breakfast time

This is the meal that I do not like. I don't like waking up in the morning peroid. All I want to do is sit, but my kids want food. Selfish I know. Matt always ask me what are we having for breakfast. I say cereal. He doesn't like that answer, like Keelen he is lactose intolerant. Today we had cereal. Smores cereal that my mother had given to me. They love it. 

 I use to let them eat it in the living room but that doesn't work. They are too messy.

Doing good

This morning I went and weighed in for the first time since starting Weight Watchers. And............ I lost 10 pounds in 12 day. I am so happy and feel so good. I hope to continue in this path. My goal in to get to a healthy weight and to get off my meds. Please continue to pray that I can keep going on :)

No words need to be said

But, I will say some. We had got home from going to my parents. Matt and I went up stairs to talk for a minute. We had put on a show for them. A couple minutes later we came down to this. GRRRRR.... Did I tell you that I love my kids :)

Home alone

When you have as many kids as we do when 2 or 3 are gone you feel it. Well the older two wanted to spend the night at nana and papa's house so we dropped them off and came home after the party that we had today. Since the older two were gone Sophia had the rule of the roost. She is actually quite good when she has no one to follow. She got to watch the movie she wanted and everything.

Time flies

Man does time fly when you having fun. I love that little phrase. It makes me think of my kids... how little time you have with them to lay the foundation that will last a life time.

I have lately been challenged about what I am really doing at home from the messages at church. I think a year ago I was blaming other people in my life and my husband for the way my life ended up. As I sit down and think about that... it is aweful. I made those choices. I am the one that chooses to stay home and be with my kids. Even if I have the attitude that can still end bad too because I am doing it all in my own strength. Jesus Christ is the one that I need to depend on.

For a while I have been thinking about writing on my blog and end up like everything else in my life saying "not right now" or "why, I haven't done it in a while no one cares." Well you know what someone does care... my Lord and Savior cares. I know what you are thinking... HIM?? Yes I think that he does care because if I say yes to writing down how I am doing. I am engage with my kids and you know what... God loves my kids. He wants them to come to Him and sit and listen at his feet.

Matt and I have choose that we need to change our lives. One of the ways that we are doing that is that we have both went back on Weight Watchers. My first meeting was last Monday. I was very happy to be back. It is very encouraging to be there. The first thing that you do is weight in. I was really not looking forward to it because I knew that it was going to say not what I wanted to hear and it did.... 314.4. Yep you saw it right. That is what I weight. That is what I weight when the twins were born. One of my friend really hurt me when I told her that we were doing Weight Watchers again, but it made me think if I don't do something now then when will I do something. I need to start sometime and the time is NOW!!

I am so sorry if this was boring for you. I just want to get back in and start again. I hope that you are with me :)

Keelen's Braces

Yesterday was the day for Keelen to get him new additions to his legs. I had to farm my other kids out to friends because Matt had to work, so thank you Reghan and Angie for watching my wonderful kids. It was quite an amazing process. They built them while we were in the office. He didn't mind the braces at all. He didn't like the guy who was building the braces to leave the room. What a social person. After getting the braces on we went we had to go to our appointment at the Shriners Hospital. Alot of people were asking questions like how long does he have to wear them, ect.... Well the doctor wanted him to wear them as much as possible. They have a locking thing at his knee. They want us to have it locked 4 hours during the day and at night. Last night he didn't like it at all. This morning also I took them off to change his socks and he said ouchy ouchy... it broke my heart. He is starting to get bruises too. He has to go back in 4 months.

Still sick edition

This past weekend I went to a Hearts at Home Conference. It was WONDERFUL!!! I have went to a couple in the past years and love them. They are always encouraging and getting me back to where I need to be as a mother. One of my favorite workshops that I went to was about blended families. I was so encouraging knowing that I'm not in this myself. It is going to be hard no matter how you look at it.

While I was away the girls were STILL sick. I thought that we would never get rid of it. It was kind of nice because I think that the girl "help" the boys get into stuff. I love taking pictures also so here are some sleeping pictures of the girls... they are so cute

Another one down

Earlier this week I took Griffin and Estin to the doctor and found out that they had influenza. Now I think that Keelen has it :( Not good. We are suppose to go to the Shriners Hospital in Chicago on Monday. He can't be sick for that. I can't find my all important children Tylenol. I guess when I firgure out what is going to happen I will go out and get some.

She CAN be cute

Sophia is her name, being ruff is her game. Sophia or Phiser as we call her loves to be ruff and hard. I don't think that she feels that pain because she just keeps going. For instance, I would be sitting on the floor and I would ask her to come over and we would snuggle together... she would run curl up in a ball and jump on me. OUCH!! BUT she can be nice and sweet as seen here:

I have never had an inside cat and I love it. She is so cute. She also don't mind the kids. I think that she actually likes them. There is one person and she does like the best and that is Matt. She goes where ever he goes.

Saphrin and Sophia hate sleep together. Saphrin wants the light off and Sophia wants the light on. Saphrin would go to bed right away. Sophia would stay up all night. One night we told them to go to bed and Saphrin went into our room and made her own bed in a basket. She fell asleep prety fast and loves it.

We got a cat :)

This has been a long time coming. Matt and the kids have wanted an animal in the house for a long time, so I finally broke down and we got a cat. We went to the shelter here in town to get it. Everyone fell in love with this one:

Someone love barbie.com alittle too much. She ask almost everyday to get on a play with the site. I told her and I was not going to sit with her and she need to figure out what to do on her own. She figured it out already. She does a really good job.

This morning while we were down stair getting everyone ready for the day the boys were upstairs having fun. Matt came out of the shower and he saw this... the boys jamming to music on my IPod. I didn't put it on for them. Estin found a way to get it on and they started jumping on the bed. I love the cuteness of out little boys :)

As you can see we have got alot of snow. EEK!! This morning I went outside to shovel snow and I found that our front door was WIDE open. There goes our heating bill :( Griffin has been home for 2 day now and I expect another tomorrow. I just really hope that Friday clears up. Matt and I are suppose to go out of town for our anniversary.
